North Ayrshire Stars     Season 2008/2009 was extremely successfull for the North Ayrshire Stars, who finished second in the Scottish League, as well as winning the Brian Findlay Invitation Tournament in May at Kilmarnock and the Telford Junior Tournament in June- beating off opposition from Coventry, Nottingham and Telford.   This season, 2009-2010, almost half of last years team have moved up to the Predators(under 16's) and have been replaced by boys and girls moving up from the Penguins. These newcomers trained with the Stars throughout last season, therefore , old and new team members are already bonding well and the team seems strong! Players from this years Penguins are already beginning to train on Thursdays too , to ensure continuity.   Andrew Kennedy, from the Devils (under 20's), is on hand at training sessions, with some new ideas and the coaches are confident that with their commitment and the teams enthusiasm, they can sustain and improve on last years successes!
